This date is of unparalleled significance in the calendar of any member of the Alpha Phi Omega. It was on the 16th of December in 1925 that the Alpha Phi Omega was founded by Frank Reed Horton at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. Little did he know that his vision of a college-based service organization based on the principles of the Scouting movement would one day cross the Pacific Ocean and find fertile ground in the universities and colleges of the Philippines. Thus, on this date of every year, APO chapters on campuses across the archipelago break out to celebrate the legacy of Leadership, Friendship, and Service that Frank Reed Horton had bequeathed to humanity. Check out the images below of recent APO Anniversary Celebrations.
