Leading Oneself

Leadership is of primal importance to any organization. Often the issues arise when leadership is misconstrued as being just the responsibility of one person or a few officers. Leadership is everyone's concern. Leading others requires the ability to lead oneself. This means being in control of your own attitude, behavior and composure. This is precisely why the principle of Leadership is matched up with the virtue of Responsibility. You have to first be responsible as an individual before you can become a leader of others.
